Life has a way of reshaping our dreams, and while Howard University's acting program called to her heart, Ohio University became the canvas where she painted her future. Switching from Theatre Arts to Entrepreneurship and Media Studies wasn't just a change of major – it was the universe guiding her toward an even bigger stage. Founded In 2020, at just 25 years old, DeJane' looked at the world's challenges and saw opportunities. D.I.M. Enterprises were designed to bridge the gap between culture and commerce while stemming from a beautiful vision: what if we could build systems that allow people, ideas and enterprises to thrive responsibly and at scale that touches every aspect of community growth? Being from the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, I have been blessed with many opportunities and resources that most around me weren't able to have. I have also seen where my community was in desperate need of resources and safe spaces. Since I was 5 years old, I've been submerged into Black Entertainment as a performer and student. I've been creating and preparing delicious dishes since the age of 7, constantly finding new ways to learn about food and how to make it entertaining yet delicious. Developing a work ethic at an early age has carried me into the driven, passionate and ambitious entrepreneur I am today.
